First Lady
First Lady Patricia A. Dunson is well known for her cheerful spirit and her willingness to worship. She is a leader who knows that the true meaning of living a righteous life is to seek God not just through your prayer life or praise, but also with worship. She also believes that worship is real when you have a true relationship with Christ and it becomes your top priority because you can’t come before the King and not offer a gift!
She is the First Lady of GracePointe Community Church and works diligently in the service of the Lord with her husband, Pastor Joseph Dunson, Senior Pastor. She is also the mother of four adult children: Joshua, Charles, Jovonia and Davie.
First Lady Patricia is a native of Columbia, South Carolina and raised throughout the U.S as a military child. She earned her associate degree in secretarial science from the University of South Carolina. She holds a certification in paralegal and is a paraprofessional educator at Buford City Schools working with Special Education.
She started out singing in the choir at Hebron Baptist Church and then started helping her husband with the Bus Ministry. God gave her a desire to use her gifts and talents to expand the ministry. The ministry began to grow tremendously which inspired a dance group called " Genesis"
Being given the mandate to empower women for God, First Lady Patricia ministers to the spiritual, emotional and physical needs of women in the body of Christ. She believes that in order to serve God, we must also learn to become transparent and a willing servants to one another. Her daily goal is always to impact, invest and make a difference in the lives of God’s people.
Her favorite scripture is Proverbs 3:5,6 " Trust in the Lord with all your heart and Lean not unto your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy path."
